All attendees are welcome to register to win the Ultimate Fly-In Fishing Trip for 4 to North To Adventure!  The grand prize winner will be drawn on Monday, March 19, 2012.

The prize trip includes a week long fly-in wilderness fishing trip package on the American Plan at Lodge Eighty Eight for up to 4 people including the flight in and out from White River, deluxe accommodations, boats, motor, gas, etc.  Trip to be based on availability in the summer of 2012.  Must be 18 years old or older to win.  No cash substitution is available to the winner.  Non-transferable.  If original booking is canceled, trip winner will forfeit the prize.  Travel to White River, taxes and fees will be the responsibility of the winner.

Ultimate Casting Competition - Win a Chance to Fish with Kevin VanDam!

Stop bragging to your buddies and put your money where your mouth is!  Contestants will compete in a side-by-side timed "Cast Off."  Each contestant will get 3 casts to "put it in the cup."  If you get a cast in the cup you will win a fishing prize and you will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing of the chance to go fishing with Kevin VanDam!  Grand Prize drawing will take place on Monday, March 19, 2012.

Check in at the NBAA booth for details and to enter.  No pre-registration required.  An entrance fee of $5 is required to register for the competition.  All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Kalamazoo Chapter of the March of Dimes.  First come, first served based on the time available.  An official NBAA judge will be on hand officiating the competition.  The Grand Prize winner need not be present to win.

Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger Food Drive

Thursday, March 15th ONLY!  Sponsored by Tony Gates and WLAV FM

Last year's food drive was so successful, we're repeating it!  This year's promotion is one night ONLY, Thursday, March 15th.  Bring your donation (minimum of 4 pounds or 6 cans or boxes) to the RV parked in front of DeVos Place and get in to the show FREE.  The food will be collected by MSAH volunteers and donated to God's Kitchen and other needy organizations.  Last year's drive, spearheaded by the popular WLAV-FM afternoon show host Tony Gates, resulted in several tons of food for the soup kitchen on South Division in Grand Rapids and other organizations who help the needy.  Beginning at 7am on Thursday, Gates will broadcast all day from an RV on Monroe Street in front of DeVos Place.  Help Tony Gates and MSAH volunteers set another record this year!

Win a Trip to the Pere Marquette River Lodge

Tony Gates of WLAV FM wants you to submit a letter in 97 words or less addressed to your father explaining why it's time to book that fishing trip again.  Tony will select the best letter and the grand prize winner will win a trip to the Pere Marquette River Lodge, which includes two nights lodging in the main lodge and a full day guide trip.  Plus, two Pere Marquette River Lodge hats and shirts.  The trip can be used for Spring Steelhead, Summer Trout or Fall Salmon.  Listen to WLAV FM for complete details.

Thunder's Bobbing for Trout Competition

Flounder of Thunder 94.5 FM will host a Bobbing for Trout Competition on Friday at 7pm by the Trout Pond.  The grand prize winner of the competition will receive the Ultimate Manistee Charter Fishing Getaway, which includes lodging at the Little River Casino / Hotel for 2 nights, a casino package and a 1/2 day charter fishing trip on Lake Michigan.  Must be at least 21 years old to participate.  Listen to Thunder for more details and how to qualify to compete.
